Can the Phase 1 Phonics CD-ROMs be used on individual computers or just whiteboards?
Solution:
All the activities can be used on either individual computers or whiteboards. To support independent learning, all text and instructions can be listened to/repeated using the sound icons available. The Introductions and Talking Stories are ideal for use on the interactive whiteboard with the teacher leading the learning, but they are also suitable for independent work.

What age group is this product suitable for?
Solution:
Phase 1 Phonics covers Phase 1 of the Letters and Sounds document (Aspects 1–6). It is ideal for 3–5 year olds, depending on each individual child's ability. The activities offer two differentiated Levels, giving you the flexibility to meet the differing needs of your pupils.

Do I need to purchase a Site Licence?
Solution:
If you want to install the Phase 1 Phonics software on more than one computer OR on to your school network, you must purchase a Site Licence to accompany your single-user CD-ROM. Once you have a Site Licence, then you can use the software on as many computers within your school as required.
Problem:
I have ordered a Site Licence but I haven't received anything
Solution:
We don't send out separate licences – the invoice for your Site Licence serves as proof of purchase and we advise you to keep a copy of this for your records.
Problem:
Is Phase 1 Phonics compatible with all interactive whiteboards?
Solution:
Yes, all our interactive software products are designed to be compatible across all the different makes of whiteboards, including Promethean and Smart boards.
Problem:
Does the software work on Macs/PCs/RM networks/other?
Solution:
The software is dual platform and will therefore work on PCs and Macs. It is designed to be networked (but can be stand-alone), and will work on RM networks.
