Problem:

The flash interface does not work on some PCs

Occasionally the Flash interface does not function correctly on PCs. The software installs but when the interface is launched the links to the files do not work.

Operating System:

Solution:

Download a software update to fix this issue.

Fix: Resource CD-ROM Software Update (PC only)

Problem:

Unable to open CSV files on Mac OS X machines

The resource files supplied in a CSV format cannot be accessed.

Smart ICT Skills Builder CD-ROMs (Years 7, 8 and 9)

Operating System:

Mac OS X

Solution:

Try the following:

Using Finder, access the folder containing the .CSV file.
Select the file and press apple/CMD + I, or select Get Info from the File menu.
In the Get Info pane that appears, expand the Open With section.
Using the dropdown field, select the application you would like to open the file type with, for example, for .CSV files select Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet application.
To apply the selection to all files of this type, select the Change All button and confirm the change.
